With the advancement of new energy vehicles and smart devices, traditional 5V/1A USB-A ports in vehicles can no longer meet the charging demands of smartphones and other devices. To achieve a fast and efficient charging experience comparable to home fast charging, automotive charging solutions are accelerating their upgrades. GaN's high-frequency and high-efficiency characteristics enable the integration of high-power circuits into smaller form factors. Compared to traditional Si-based solutions, GaN reduces temperature rise by 20°C and improves efficiency by 1%, easily meeting the requirements for automotive PD applications and delivering a superior in-vehicle charging experience.
